In mid October of 2021, we got an amazing chance to visit one of the most complete mighty T-Rex dinosaur fossil in the world. Named “Tristan Otto”, was a massive T rex dinosaur that lived during the late Cretaceous period, around 68 to 66 million years ago. Standing at an impressive height of over 20 feet and weighing over 6 tons, the T. rex was one of the largest predators to have ever existed.
Tristan Otto was discovered in the United States and is believed to have lived around 66 million years ago. The name “Tristan Otto” was chosen by the museum in honor of two of the discoverers’ sons, Tristan and Otto. The T Rex skeleton was discovered in the early 1990s. The exact location of the discovery is not publicly disclosed to protect the site from vandalism and theft. After its discovery, the T. rex fossils were carefully extracted and transported to a laboratory for preparation and preservation.
The T. rex skeleton was later acquired by the Natural Science Museum in Copenhagen, which arranged for the transport of the fossils from the United States to Denmark.
